So I have been trying to wait and do this post when we get the new lap top in but it looks like it won't be here for another week and I really need to do this before I forget everything! Our big boy turned 3 on the 14th! Wow! He woke up earlier than usual and that made me a little nervous because we had a big day ahead at Chuck e Cheese. He was Soooooo excited. We treated him to breakfast at the donut place and both kiddos loved it. A rare but very special treat. Then it was time to head to the party. He had around 10 friends that came to celebrate. It was so chaotic and so much fun. He interacted with Chuckie a whole lot better than I thought he would and even danced along to the band. The biggest surprise was when he got into the ticket blaster. Nobody thought he was going to get in. It was hilarious seeing him wearing those goggles. He got a ton of great gifts. I would have to say that his favorite thing was probably the blue power ranger figure that my mom got him. We did get him a big boy bike but her refuses to get on it saying that it is too big but very cool. He is so used to the tiny balance bike. He will love it before long. We finished up the day at Cracker Barrel for supper. It is where we have eaten both times the night before I went in to have my babies, so it was only fitting we went there. Here are some things Big H is up to....
. He loves for us to play robots or super heroes with him
. He loves shooting spider webs like spider man and loves some power rangers
. Whenever one of us lays down with him and we get up to leave, he always says " 2 minutes"
. When he talks about how his teeth he calls them cheese, I guess because we always yell that;)
. He has been potty trained for a couple of months now. A funny story... Matt took him to the bathroom and he pooted really loudly and he told Matt that that was called the poo poo song. Ohhh my!!! The funniest thing ever.
. Whenever C cries he tells her that everything is ok, Hudson is here.
. He can seriously hit the mess out of a baseball. No kidding.
. He loves to cuddle and calls it snuggles
. Pizza would have to be his favorite food. He also loves watermelon and grapes and bacon. And he would eat a stick of butter if you let him. Gross me out!!
. He loves his cousin Simmons who is seven, and wants to do everything that he does. Simmons gave H some baseball shirts and that is all he wants to wear. Forget the cute appliqued shirts he refuses to wear them.
. Tells us that we are his best buddy.
.Tells Sis that she looks pretty
. Tells us things are a big deal
. His favorite color is blue
. He loves jumping off the diving board. He loves swimming, we have done a lot of that this summer. He is actually taking swimming lessons from Matt's mother and he is pretty stubborn about it but he will do it when he is ready.
. When he sees big trucks he tells me that they are doing instructions (meaning construction). He is just getting so big and it is a blast watching him grow;)
