The Big Guy

I wanted to do a post on what The Big Guy has been up to. He is such a mess and he constantly keeps us in stitches. As far as his attittude, it is like night and day to what we were going through a few months ago. Don't get me wrong we still have many meltdown moments and what 2 year old doesn't but nothing like it was when Matt would have to meet me at the grocery store to have to put him in the car seat because he was pitching such a fit, ripping my shirt and throwing my glasses across the car and I couldn't physically put him in that car with him arching his back and no amount of spankings were working. Oh that was just a small glimpse of what went on in that car;)One of the reasons we believe his attitude has gotten better is that we are not giving him so much juice and when we do we give him the organic kind but we dilute it. We are trying to completely do away with processed foods and it really does affect him, the added sugars and artificial dyes. He is drinking a lot more milk now, which is great. His eating is about the same, one day he will eat really well and another not so much. He does like baby spinach with dressing and has started to really like eggs, go figure!!
The big thing that he is into now is robots, especially Bumblebee from Transformers. Obsessed! Everytime we are in the car he has to point to every yellow car and yell "Bumblebee car". He loves to watch dancing robots on youtube too. He still loves Scooby and the gang, we watch that everyday. And of coarse Buzz is still his buddy! Spiderman and Batman are also some new friends of his.
We got him a little balance bike to help him prepare for a big bike and he has his Bumblebee helmet too. He is pretty stinkin cute in that helmet. He loves his bike and loves to ride it around the house we we aren't riding it outside.
He loves school and has started going 3 days a week now. He can count to 10 and we are now working on counting to 20 and our ABC's. His best buddies at school are Nick and Wucas(Lucas). Everything is "Nick and Wucas", "Nick and Wucas"! We ask him what he did at school that day and he will say "Nick and Wucas". Funny story about him and Wucas.. I was picking him up from school on Wed. and Kara, his teacher, also a friend of mine brought him out to me in the car line. She told me that his shoes were pretty dirty and proceeded to tell me why. She said that Hudson and Lucas were being really quiet at lunch so she went to the end of the table to check on them and they were smashing peanut butter sandwhiches with their feet, then they started laughing hysteriacally to the point where they couldn't catch their breaths. Oh, these boys!!!
He still loves his Sissy but we have to watch him a lot because he wants to hug her tightly. The other night we had them on the the bed and went into the kitchen and heard H laughing really hard and we came in to find H hitting Clayton with her baby doll, poor baby, she wasn't even crying, just sitting there kinda confused.
His favorite thing to wear is his Bama shirt and sweat pants and loves to wear his Ho Ho jommies. He is still wearing a size 45 diaper and is now up to 30 lbs. Watching him grow is just such a complete blessing and joy. We love you Big Guy!
